ABOUT US
Established in 1980, the Urban Financial Services Coalition Central Maryland (UFSC Central Maryland) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the professional development of minorities in the financial services industry. This commitment is achieved through leadership opportunities, career development seminars, and participation in community outreach and youth education initiatives.
UFSC Central Maryland is an affiliate chapter of the UFSC national organization and one of twenty three UFSC chapters across the United States and Toronto, Canada. UFSC was established as the National Association of Urban Bankers in 1974.
OUR OBJECTIVES

To address the banking and financial services needs of the urban community by providing financial literacy, educational and other technical assistance.

To bring together minorities in the financial services industry for the exchange of experiences, ideas and interests in order to help promote career and professional development.

To enhance the image of banking and financial services professionals in the community.

Urban Financial Services Coalition (UFSC) invites you to our 39th Annual International Summit for Financial Professionals. The summit will be a collaborative initiative of the St. Louis and Kansas City UFSC chapters and will include information sessions for small businesses and business professionals, a CEO Symposium led by leaders of major businesses and Intercollegiate Oratorical and Youth Business Plan competitions. These summit components will be held at the headquarters of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, One Federal Reserve Bank Plaza, Broadway and Locust Streets, St. Louis, MO 63102. The summit will culminate with a Community Empowerment Day event that is free to the public.
