ABOUT US

Established in 1980, the Urban Financial Services Coalition Central Maryland (UFSC Central Maryland) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the professional development of minorities in the financial services industry.  This commitment is achieved through leadership opportunities, career development seminars, and participation in community outreach and youth education initiatives.

UFSC Central Maryland is an affiliate chapter of the UFSC national organization and one of twenty three UFSC chapters across the United States and Toronto, Canada.  UFSC was established as the National Association of Urban Bankers in 1974.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • To address the banking and financial services needs of the urban community by providing financial literacy, educational and other technical assistance.

  • To bring together minorities in the financial services industry for the exchange of experiences, ideas and interests in order to help promote career and professional development.
